Characteristics:
•  It has compact structure, average crystalline, stable chemical composition, and will not hydrate. When it's melting in the steel liquid, there's not flame, smoke and dust.

•  It's suitable for steel refining & desulphurizing in LF, SKF, VHD.

•  It has good desulphurizing performances. It can greatly clean the “S” (Sulphur, sulphide and oxysulphide), and reduce them to a minimum - reduce the “S” to 0.0025% (25ppm), 0.002% (20ppm) and even lower. It has strong sulphophile ability without resulfurization problems.

•  It has high desulphurizing efficiency (80%), and it can quickly form the slag, and it can strongly absorb the impurity, such as P, N, etc.

•  It will help to shorten the steel-making time (shorten min.15 minutes), and reduce the electricity consumption, so that reduce the steel-making costs.

Consumption of the Desulphurizer:
Generally, it will consume 5 kgs Desulphurizer per ton of steel liquid during steel-making (refining). According to the initial “S” (Sulphur, sulphide and oxysulphide) in the steel liquid, you will have to add or reduce more bases on consumption 5 kgs.

Applications & Notice:
•  In Electrical Furnace (EF):
At a time and together add the Desulphurizer (5kgs per ton of steel liquid) & lime (8-10kgs per ton of steel liquid) according to the refining steel liquid weight. Generally, we will add them in initial refining furnace, and we can add them in refining furnace too, but it depends on the steel-making (refining) situation.

•  In Converter (furnace):
Generally, when the steel liquid is poured into 1/3 volume of ladle, we will add the Desulphurizer (5kgs per ton of steel liquid) & lime (8-10kgs per ton of steel liquid) according to the refining steel liquid weight. Then, transfer the steel liquid to the refining furnace by torpedo, and reefing there.

•  Steel liquid refining time:
It's better the refining time will be over 40 minutes after the Desulphurizer & Lime added into the steel liquid.

•  Other operations will be as usual ones.
